SAVOR JAPAN has been announcing the most-booked 20 restaurants* by the Japan visitors. This time, we will announce the most appealing Top 20 restaurants of 2018.

After being trained at many well-established restaurants, a chef named Takeo Suzuki opened his restaurant in 2008 at Kyoto, locating near Kyoto Gyoen. The restaurant’s size is humble, with seats amounting to only 7, which is within his sight range to provide the guests with special Omotenashi care. His aim is not for unusualness, but instead for a skillful handicraft. With his creed, “meals should be cooked with honesty,” his dishes might appear rather straightforward.
