Located a 7-minute walk from Tambaguchi Station, Kyoryori Hachisei is a restaurant with Kyoto cuisine that has been operated by a family for two generations. You can enjoy haute cuisine without trepidation. Both day and night, the restaurant serves only chef's choice haute cuisine meals featuring seasonal ingredients purchased at the central market. The beautifully arranged Hassun showcases the changing of the four seasons, from the ingredients to the garnishes. The tableware for each dish is also a must-see.

The interior of the restaurant has a chic, modern Japanese design. The chef welcomes diners with a warm smile to put first-time visitors at ease. There are two private rooms, the larger of which can accommodate up to 10 people. It can also be divided into partitions to accommodate smaller groups. The private room facing the counter has sofa seating and is recommended for diners who want to relax in greater comfort.

Godan Miyazawa is located a 5-minute walk from Gojo Station. Mr. Miyazawa, the owner of the famous restaurant Jiki Miyazawa, entrusted that restaurant to his apprentice and opened this new restaurant. You can enjoy dishes similar to tea ceremony dishes in the Chef's Choice Meal, which differs each day. From the unique combination of ingredients, cooking techniques, and items served in antique dishes to the green tea and sweets prepared by Mr. Miyazawa himself, you will enjoy an impressive dining experience.

Karasuma - Kentan Horibe

Mr. Horibe, the owner of the famous restaurant Gion Horibe, opened this new restaurant, Kentan Horibe, in Karasuma. The name of the restaurant means a deeper exploration of things. As the name suggests, the restaurant offers Kyoto cuisine with a sincere approach to tradition. The menu consists only of "lunch" and "dinner." Meals are prepared by making a broth with "Yanagi no mizu," the famous water loved by Sen no Rikyu, and examining the ingredients that day, which explains why the food is favored by many gourmands.

This restaurant is located just one street north of the bustling Shijo Dori. As you enter the elegant Kyoto townhouse, you will find an elegant setting where attention has been paid to every detail. The private tatami room, which can accommodate up to seven people, is purely Japanese in style. Every detail of the room is meticulously designed to add a touch of elegance to your meal with someone special. Kentan Horibe

Nihonshu, Wine, and Sumibiyaki Nakamura is a restaurant specializing in sake, wine, and charcoal grilling and is located a 5-minute walk from Gion-Shijo Station. Here, you can enjoy charcoal-grilled dishes made with ingredients that the owner himself has carefully selected from around Japan. The Chef's Choice Meal is the only menu option.
