Yakitori is a simple dish with bite sized pieces of chicken skewered and grilled over an open flame, but it is the careful selection of ingredients, the amount of heat, and the grilling technique that make a restaurant's unique appeal so different. You can freely choose your favorite skewers, order a course that has been carefully planned, down to the order in which you eat it, or savor a menu in collaboration with Japanese cuisine. We have selected a variety of unique restaurants that are known for their excellence.
A fusion of Japanese cuisine and yakitori. Taste the chicken brand name "Date Dori (female chicken)" at the one and only restaurant.
Yakitori Tsukiya, facing Ginza Sony Street, is a restaurant that offers unique yakitori fused with traditional Japanese cuisine. The course menu centered on Date Dori, a brand-name chicken that the chef fell in love with during his training, is a masterpiece. You can enjoy the deep flavors of the chicken along with the seasonal ingredients in the dishes.
The restaurant has only 16 seats along a white wooden counter so that each guest can sit face-to-face with the chef. In the center of the restaurant, an ink painting of dragons and peonies above the kitchen, where a chef from a Michelin starred Japanese restaurant stands at work, creates a tranquil dinner time atmosphere. The restaurant is a hideaway in a corner of Ginza where you can relish the taste of yakitori that has evolved from traditional popular cuisine to the highest level of yakitori.

50 years devoted to yakitori. Taste every bit of Date Dori grilled by a master yakitori chef.
Miyashin is located on Ginza Corridor Street, a restaurant district under the elevated JR line, and is operated by a veteran chef with 50 years of experience. The right hand holding the skewer is always rotating to evenly warm the moisture in the meat, and the left hand holds a large fan to adjust the heat to the perfect level. They make one of the best skewers of Date Dori, with a flavor, elasticity, and confidence that rival those of French Bresse chicken.
The restaurant's impressive white wooden counter could easily be mistaken for a sushi restaurant. This counter, where you are handed a freshly grilled skewer directly to you, is the best place to enjoy the real pleasure of yakitori. For groups, we recommend the semi private or private rooms with table seating. You can spend a relaxing time with carefully selected wines, such as light reds and acidic whites, which bring out the flavor of yakitori.
