The tofu, stocked at a long-standing tofu shop in Yamashina, has the rich flavors of soybeans. There are individual boiled tofu options, as well as the Tsukasa Kaiseki, a boiled tofu kaiseki course that is highly recommended. It features boiled tofu with 10 items, including tofu skin sashimi.

The served Kyoto tofu skins use specially made soy milk with 100% domestic soybeans and are carefully handmade at the main branch, the Miyama Workshop. The Kyoto tofu skins, packed with the delicious flavors of soybeans, can be enjoyed in various cooking methods, including sashimi, grilled on a ceramic plate, salad, boiled in soy sauce, and pudding.
The restaurant has only a counter with a total of nine seats. It has an atmosphere that makes it easy to use for both dates and solo customers and lets guests freely enjoy themselves despite the Kyoto-style tastes and high-class feel. The menu consists only of courses, and advance reservations are required for both dinner and lunch. Guests can also choose a course when they arrive at the restaurant by making a reservation for seats only.

It uses first-class Fuku Yutaka soybeans from Shiga Prefecture and Kyoto's underground water, and has used carefully handmade tofu since long ago. The broth, which uses copious amounts of Rishiri kelp and Makurazaki-made dried bonito shavings, has delicious flavors that are beyond description.
This elegant space lets guests enjoy high-quality Japanese food while gazing at a beautiful garden, as befitting its name, Ryotei (Food Garden).
