Conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Fukui Station, Shunkashuto Kemuriya is a restaurant specializing in seasonal flavors and sake. The restaurant offers a wide variety of original dishes, featuring mainly the abundant seafood that is the pride of Fukui. Be sure to try the specialties such as Assorted Sashimi, which allows you to enjoy fresh fish from Fukui as well as from the rest of Japan, and Lightly Fried Fresh Horse Mackerel with Egg Tartar, which can also be eaten as sashimi.

The restaurant has a relaxed, modern Japanese interior, which is perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal. Private rooms are available for groups and families, but we recommend the counter for small groups or single diners, where you can see the owner's skills up close. The restaurant always has about 60 brands of local sake from Fukui and elsewhere in Japan, so you can enjoy a combination of delicious food and sake.

Adult French cuisine with an exquisite combination of seasonal ingredients and homemade sauces.

Mooma is located on the first floor of a building near the Fukui Prefectural Government Office, a 15-minute walk from Fukui Station. The menu is casual during the day, and French cuisine is mainly offered as set menus at night. The restaurant uses vegetables grown in Fukui Prefecture with fewer agricultural chemicals and fish that has been euthanized to preserve its freshness and flavor. All of the broth and sauces are made by hand using traditional techniques, resulting in refined dishes.
