18. SAN MARINO Tokyo Branch

18. SAN MARINO Tokyo Branch
San Marino is the 1st restaurant in Japan conceptualized after the Republic of San Marino in Italy, which is the 5th smallest country in the world. They offer local Italian cuisine from the Marche region. One of the recommended picks is the [San Marino Roasted Rabbit] (1,680 JPY). Though rabbit may not be a particularly common dish in Japan, the meat is simmered gradually in various herbs and white wine, and the meat is tender but not at all gamy. There is also another unique option for game with the [Ezo Deer Sausage] (160 g / 1,480 JPY), which is hard to find elsewhere. The [Creamy Risotto with Porchini Mushrooms] (1,680 JPY) is made with a luxury ingredient in porchini mushrooms, and the smooth texture and rich mushroom aroma make for a dish you'll be sure to want to try.
