4. Sawatdee Lemongrass Grill

Sawatdee Lemongrass Grill cuisine
Sawatdee Lemongrass Grill floor
Our signature Pu Nim Pad Pong Curry uses crab that has recently shed its shell. In order to enrich the flavor and temper the spiciness, we add in eggs to create a mild, easy-to-eat dish. The soft-shell crab in this popular Thai dish features lots of umami (pleasant savory taste) to enjoy. We get our Thai seasonings and vegetables from an import company, and reproduce authentic Thai flavors by balancing spicy, sweet, and sour flavors, and adding fragrant herbs. We also feature a selection of Thai beer and other alcohol to pair with our food. Our “Thai Select” designation is an official restaurant certification from Thailand, so our dishes are based on genuine Thai cooking. However, don't hesitate to ask us to adjust the spiciness of any dish. Our entire staff is considerate and attentive when it comes to hospitality, and we work hard to create a pleasant atmosphere. With furniture and dishware all imported from Thailand, and genuine Thai food made by real Thai chefs, our restaurant will make you feel as though you have opened a door and walked into the fascinating country of Thailand.

We also make use of many other excellent regional ingredients, from seafood like Pacific oysters, blow fish, and tilefish, to Hiroshima beef and Shimane wild boar raised in the Sanyo-Sanin area, and produce harvested by our neighbors in Miyajima and its surrounding areas. We would love to introduce guests that have never been to Al-che-cciano to the delicious flavors and fun of Italian cuisine made with local ingredients.
