How to Search by Area

Travelers can search for restaurants based on the area they are visiting. First, they select a major area such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, or Kyushu.

After transitioning to each area page, please select a more specific region.
For example, in the case of the Tokyo area
After selecting 'Tokyo', choose areas such as 'Shinjuku' or 'Asakusa'.

Then, you will arrive at a list of restaurants in the selected area. Please try searching for a restaurant that interests you by sorting the list by 'Recommended' or 'New Arrivals'.

How to Search by Cuisine Genre

First, select the area you will be visiting, such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, or Kyushu. After navigating to each area page, please choose the cuisine genre that interests you, such as 'sushi', 'tempura', or 'sashimi'.

Then, they will arrive at a list of restaurants narrowed down by the selected area and cuisine genre.

How to Narrow Down Options More Freely

On the SAVOR JAPAN homepage under 'Find Restaurant', by entering the area, cuisine genre or restaurant name, as well as the number of people, date of visit, and time, one can search for restaurants that more closely match their desired criteria.

1. If they find a restaurant of interest, they should make a reservation online in advance.

In Japan, it is common to make a reservation before visiting a restaurant, whether on weekdays or holidays. It is especially recommended to book restaurants in advance before visiting Japan, particularly in tourist areas or popular restaurants. If you find a restaurant that interests you on SAVOR JAPAN, please follow the steps below to make a reservation.

In the case of request reservations

They will check with the restaurant on SAVOR JAPAN to see if a reservation is possible for the desired visit date. For restaurants indicated as 'Request Reservation', they will contact you via email after confirming with the restaurant to inform you of the availability of the reservation.

Press the request reservation button to proceed to the reservation application page

-Step 2
After selecting the number of visitors, date, and time, enter your name, email address, phone number (a phone number from your own country is fine), hotel name, and nationality. If there are any special instructions or allergy information you wish to communicate to the restaurant, please check the option and fill in the relevant section. Please also respond to the survey regarding your length of stay and the number of times you have visited Japan.

Please register your credit card information. Registering your card here will not incur any charges. Payment for food and beverages on the day will be made at the restaurant.

After registering the card information, click the 'Send Reservation Request' button to complete the reservation request. SAVOR JAPAN will confirm with the restaurant and notify you via email about the availability of your reservation.

In the case of immediate reservation

If the desired date is available for reservation selection, the reservation is confirmed once the reservation request is completed. The process for a request reservation remains the same, however, immediate reservations require membership registration.
