Kanazawa is a city in Ishikawa Prefecture, located in the Hokuriku region of Japan. Numerous well-known tourist destinations in Kanazawa consistently draw both domestic and foreign visitors. The seaside city of Kanazawa is especially well-known for its assortment of seafood, particularly crab in the winter. Let us introduce some of the Kanazawa restaurants that serve the highest caliber of seafood.
1. Oryori Kifune
A restaurant close to the Higashi Chayagai neighborhood that preserved relics of Kanazawa's halcyon days. In the bustling Kanazawa Japanese culinary scene, "Oryori Kifune," housed in a refurbished historic private residence constructed in the Taisho century, provides fresh trends. Restaurant owner Kiyokazu Nakagawa chuckles as he characterizes the distinctive quality of his food as "lack of coherence." This shows that he is constantly on the lookout for quality components, which he seizes with enthusiasm. Here at Oryori Kifune, you can try many art dishes with several special seasonal ingredients, including outstanding seafood from the Kanazawa Sea.

2. Ajiraku Yumeri
Making the most of the fact that it was founded in the Ushitsu district of Noto, "Ajiraku Yumeri" gets its seafood in a unique way. The goal while opening this restaurant was to serve the tastiest, freshest meals possible. Every day, the "Sashimi Platter" is glittering and seductive, filled with fish caught that day from Noto, including rockfish, flounder, whale, tilefish, Japanese amberjack, whelks, and mackerel. The fish are delivered to the restaurant in time for service that day and are quickly cooked after being auctioned off at Ushitsu Fishing Harbor every morning at seven.
