The Japanese Black Wagyu rib-eyed beef is of the highest quality, with a melting texture and taste that saturates the palate. In the Kawasaki Nikko Hotel, just in front of JR Kawasaki Station, the restaurant is in an excellent location. It is made with home-made buckwheat flour ground by a stone mill every morning, and renowned water from Hakone. A limited quantity can be prepared to offer the best-conditioned soba, they open only lunchtime. They also adjust the producing method depending on if the dish is cold such as [Zaru Soba (cold soba on a sieve basket)] or hot such as [Kake Soba (hot soba in a soup)]. Furthermore, only high-quality ingredients are carefully selected, not only for the soba's dipping sauce but also for tempura and a-la-carte dishes. Inside the restaurant has a somehow nostalgic atmosphere, with the seats surrounding a sunken hearth. Tourists and soba lovers from far away visit here to take their time and enjoy meals.

The predecessor of this restaurant was [Alpin Jiro] operated as a mountain cabin at Oze Tokura Snow Park. The natural interior design, reminiscent of the ambiance from that time, provides a comfortable time for guests. The original curry recipe, made with a blend of 12 thoughtfully-selected spices, locks in the delicious flavors of the ingredients. The curry has a superb balance of light, flourless curry sauce and the rustic-sized pieces of the ingredients. Koshihikari rice sourced from Sugiya Farm is served in the pot. With a crispy skin and juicy meat, the [Chicken Curry] is a recipe that carries on the traditional flavors of this restaurant.
