Susukino is packed with numerous dining establishments offering delicious food from a wide range of genres, making it hard to decide where to go. This time, we will introduce some recommended restaurants that are easily accessible from Susukino Station.
Sushi-dokoro Tatsutoshi
Fully enjoy the flavors of hokkaido through sushi and Japanese cuisine
Sushidokoro Tatsutoshi, located a 5-minute walk from Susukino Station, is a restaurant where the owner, who has built a career dedicated to sushi, showcases his skills. You can enjoy sushi and a variety of dishes made with seasonal ingredients, primarily sourced from Hokkaido. The freshness of the ingredients, delivered directly from fishing ports and fishermen, is exceptional. They recommend the 'Selected Course,' where you can savor the bounty of Hokkaido's sea and mountains through small bowls, chawanmushi, sashimi, and nigiri.
The interior, which exudes the warmth of wood, mainly features counter seats. These are prime seats where you can enjoy your meal while watching the craftsmanship of the chefs. In addition to the counter seats, there are three private rooms that can accommodate up to six people each. By removing the partitions, the space can be expanded to accommodate up to 18 people, making it ideal for large groups. As these are completely private rooms, smoking is allowed, which is rare these days. This makes it a convenient place for smokers as well.
