This shop is unique because cafe and grocery don't usually go together in Nagoya. Inside the restaurant, you can enjoy various menu such as coffee made from[Maruyama coffee] beans of Karuizawa, Nagano prefecture, freshly made hot sandwiches, black curry from a famous restaurant in Ichinomiya, and the popular [Acai bowl].In addition, there are also a wide range of sweets available like pancakes and muffins. Following the store in Ebisu, Tokyo, the second [Salt Water] restaurant opened in Dai nagoya Building. The name of the restaurant has a profound meaning. It comes from the [salt water] used to boil pasta, and David Meyers', an American Michelin chef/producer, love for the [ocean]. The signature dish at the Nagoya restaurant carries its name in the title, [Salt Water Burger]. It is created to present the inherent flavor, fragrance, texture, and color of the ingredients as much as possible. The dish combines the complexities of a washed rind cheese, sweetness of caramelized onions, and slight bitterness of arugula. 100% lean meat, extra thick patty is very satisfying. A wide selection of pastas and desserts are also available.

This is an offshoot of the famous restaurant, [Cucina Italiana Gallura Yagoto], which embodies Italian cuisine that delights and excites customers. Reproducing the ambience of a trattoria of the [Gallura Ikeshita] period which served as the basis for the current Yagoto restaurant, they have created a new restaurant in the Dai Nagoya Building with the hope that customers will have an even more relaxing and enjoyable time. The Head Chef is Mr. Tanaka, who has been the right-hand man of Chef Morioka in Ikeshita and Yagoto.
