Arcana Tokyo is a French restaurant located on the 6F of KITTE, a shopping complex right next to Tokyo Station. With a concept of providing “refined vegetable cuisine,” this restaurant serves an abundance of course meals that are brimming with vegetables. Their healthy dishes are popular because they are made without any unnecessary use of fresh cream or butter. They have over 60 types of vegetables, most of which are stocked after being freshly harvested that morning in the Miura Peninsula. These vegetables contain plenty of sea minerals, a possible feat thanks to the salty winds of the nearby ocean. Characterized by their robust flavor, they are lightly cooked before being served. 2. Jardin de LUSEINE (Harajuku, French Cuisine)

This elegant French restaurant, housed in a mansion and filled with antique furnishings, is located down a side street of Takeshita Street (Takeshita-dori), Harajuku. Come here to enjoy French cuisine made with seasonal ingredients, such as their [Mont Saint-Michel Omelette and Small Shrimp Risotto]. This original dish is very popular and consists of plump small shrimps in a risotto that's contained in a delicious, soft meringue. 3. Sardegna Kateiryori Tharros (Shibuya, Italian Cuisine)

This restaurant serves local Sardinian cuisine. Sardinia is an Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea. Some of their most famous dishes include appetizers such as [Bottarga] - salted, cured, and dried grey mullet roe - and appetizers made with [Pecorino Cheese], which is a type of sheep cheese. They have other extravagant dishes made with meat and fish, but what's common about all their dishes is that the flavors come straight from Sardinia. Dishes not to be missed out on include [Fregula] - a small, ball-shaped pasta unique to Sardinia that is filled with condensed umami (Japanese savory taste) of seasonal shellfish extract - and [Seada], a traditional confectionery where Pecorino cheese is wrapped in pie dough and deep-fried. This pie and quiche specialty restaurant carefully handmakes all of its dough. The chefs actually stretch and fold the dough numerous times to create a light and crispy texture. Using a machine to do the same process would only ruin its delicious texture. BREAK TIME sets its quiches apart from the crowd by using pie dough instead of the more common tart dough. Fermented butter seasoning also brings out the original flavor of the pastry. Come here to watch the owner, a tea master, enact a tea ceremony at this restaurant. According to the owner, if weak tea is like cappuccino, then strong tea is the espresso of teas. Tasting the condensed umami of [Strong Tea] will no doubt make you appreciate the charm of matcha (powdered green tea) even more! The [Sencha Float] consists of cold Japanese tea topped with rich ice cream – a combination so rare, you’ll struggle to see it elsewhere! The mellow tea aroma combines perfectly with rich ice cream. This place is decorated with a wood tone, with a bright and playful atmosphere. This restaurant is amazingly only a minute's walk from Shibuya Station. Come here to relax in one of their private rooms and slowly enjoy a meal. Their signature dish is the [Tsuyudashi Shabu-shabu] (sliced meat parboiled with vegetables), in which meat is quickly boiled in dashi made of kelp, bonito flakes, small dried sardines, and other ingredients. It is a very healthy dish, as any excess oil is removed during the cooking process. The aroma and umami of the dashi bring out the flavors of the ingredients. You can choose from several options, including special pork and branded beef. Sukiyaki (hot pot stew), seiromushi (ingredients steamed in a bamboo steamer), and a wide selection of a la carte dishes and alcohol are also available.
