In the settlement of Bise, renowned for its beautiful row of about 20,000 fukugi trees, you can find Oshokuji Dokoro Chanya, a restaurant established in a renovated kominka (traditional Japanese house), where the owner's great-grandmother used to live. Seats must be booked beforehand, but if you do, you'll get to savor traditional dishes like shabu-shabu (sliced meat parboiled with vegetables) or tobanyaki (ceramic plate roast) of Yanbaru agu pork. Starting from the fish caught by the owner's dad in the nearby sea or vinegared mozuku (a kind of seaweed) handmade by the owner's younger brother, ingredients that tell the stories of the producers are used. Butaya Kuromasa is a restaurant specializing in pork meat in Yomitan village (Yomitan-son). They only use a type of Black Pig that is a crossbreed of 3 different brands: Agu Kuro-buta (Agu Black Pork), Kagoshima Kuro-buta (Kagoshima Black Pork), and Duroc Pork. As they are raised on their own farm, the meat can be served for a reasonable price, which is highly appreciated by locals and tourists alike. 8. Gyuton Gassen Brand Gyu Agu Buta Ittogai Nikuryori Senmonten (Yakiniku)

This meat specialty restaurant directly managed by a butcher is located along Japan National Route 58. They buy their animals whole, including Ishigaki Misaki Beef, Motobu Beef, and other local beef brands as well as Agu-buta (Agu Pork), and butcher them themselves. This allows them to serve over 100 different cuts, including rare parts. You can enjoy the meat yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) style as well as in shabu-shabu and other nabe (hot pot) dishes, but their specialty is the original [Chiritori Nabe (from 1,950 JPY)]. This must-eat hot pot combines a rich pork bone soup with a miso-based special sauce, bringing the umami (Japanese savory taste) of meat and offal to a whole new level.

Ten is a restaurant established inside Okinawa Spa Resort Exes, a huge resort facility from the Kariyushi Beach Resort that stretches over 264,000 square meters.
